French Support Courses
Mot-Ka Academy offers small-group French courses with structured support designed to strengthen and support children’s academic learning.
The sessions are based on the requirements of the Quebec education program and follow the progression of learning. Through targeted activities in reading, writing, and oral communication, students develop their language skills in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Each session is led by an instructor who adapts support to the needs of the group and each student to ensure optimal progress.

ACADÉMIE
Grammar Program – Level 2 (Ages 8–9)
This program helps students build a strong foundation in French grammar. They learn to recognize the main parts of speech, identify the subject of a sentence, and apply grammar rules.
Through hands-on, age-appropriate activities, students develop the ability to write clearer, more structured, and more accurate sentences while becoming more independent in their use of French.

Grammar Program – Level 3 (Ages 10–12)
This program helps students deepen their understanding of French grammar. They work with parts of speech, sentence structure, and grammar rules to better analyze, revise, and improve their writing.
Through a variety of activities and writing tasks, students develop greater independence, linguistic accuracy, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Reading Program – “Je lis les sons” (Ages 6–7)
This program helps students build essential early reading skills by developing the relationship between letters and sounds. Through fun and structured activities, they learn to decode syllables and words, expand their vocabulary, and improve reading fluency and comprehension.
Students gain confidence and develop the strategies needed to become independent readers.

This program helps students develop effective reading strategies to better understand, analyze, and interpret a variety of texts. They work on comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills related to reading.
Through a differentiated approach and a range of activities, each student progresses at their own pace while building confidence and independence as a reader.
